Dayne Carter is a Hip-Hop artist from Hillsborough, NJ. In May 2018, he released his debut album, "Roadtrip” independently with the help of his hometown collective. Roadtrip, used metaphorically and literally, tells Dayne's journey from growing up in the 908 to moving to NYC. Sometimes, we get too comfortable in our everyday settings and unconsciously fall into a bubble forgetting there's a larger world. Roadtrip breaks those comfort zones and explores themes such as having to distance yourself in order to grow, fighting paranoia to find self reassurance and having faith in the unknown.
