Unscripted Jazz Series

The "Unscripted Jazz Series" taps into the trend for smaller, focused live music events; intimate venues, and a diverse mix of jazz music. Voorhees Hall at The Zimmerli is the perfect setting for these events! Spread over the academic school year beginning Saturday, April 20th, these concerts will be curated by the heralded guitarist, Gerald Veasley. Mr. Veasley, the Ambassador of Jazz for the City of Philadelphia has successfully presented over 300 performances of the Unscripted Jazz Series.

Presenting a range of established artist from around the United States to perform with the various Rutgers University music groups will be a unique cultural enhancement to the communities we serve. This is the first of many high profile collaborations that Hub City Jazz and Uscripted Jazz will bring to Rutgers Campus. The series will continue with three dates in the Fall 2019.
